I've been thinking about direction for Spring Thing next April and just wanted to ask you guys to pray for nothing else to conflict with the weekend we choose. (If you know of any April events that are already scheduled let me know right away.) I don't want to host the rally just because it's 'our turn' this year. I want this to be the most impacting weekend possible. Please be praying now that preparation will go well, students will be challenged and ready to "wake up" and get to work with God.
It's not set in stone yet, but I'm almost locked in to bringing One Time Blind in. They're a great drama group that does an awesome job of getting you into the story of Christ's love for us and driving His message right to your heart. The emphasis of their current material fits in perfectly with the focus I was planning for the weekend. Check out their website and be praying that the details will be worked out for them to come.
